Papertrey August Blog Hop Challenge

This is my first PTI Blog Hop.  The challenge was to use brown paper bags for our projects.  I took the simple route and used dies and  Beautiful Blooms II  to make my card.  I cut out 8 flowers from each of the 3 dies from a brown lunch sack.  I cut strips from the lunch sack and ran them through my Big Shot with all 3 dies, getting 2 flower of each size with each pass.   I then stamped the corresponding image on each die-cut flower.  I glued them together and sewed on a button to create my finished flower.

Here is a close-up of my lunch bag flower.  TFL

I love the Fall to Layouts from the Clean and Simple blog.  They are so easy to work with.  I used Dot Spot from PaperTrey Ink on both cards. I just changed the colors and sentiments.  Dot Spot is a set that I fell in love with and then had trouble using.  I do like the results that I got using this layout.

Paper:  PTI White and Summer Sunrise, SU Cool Caribbean

TESTING

I have decided to enter the blog world.  Since I am not sure what I am doing, this is a test.
